Company taps Dr. Wendy Lynch and Tom Brennan to drive continued momentum amid booming demand

meQuilibrium, the leading data-driven resilience solution, today announced two strategic additions to its leadership: Tom Brennan, who will serve as chief financial officer, and Wendy Lynch, Ph.D., who will join the company’s Board of Directors. meQuilibrium, which now serves more than 25 Fortune 1000 companies, has experienced rapid growth with doubled contracted revenue in the past nine months. The company will leverage Brennan and Lynch’s deep expertise as it continues to navigate tremendous market opportunity driven by a confluence of technological, socioeconomic and political changes that require organizations to be adaptive and resilient.

“As demand for resilience continues to rise, Tom and Wendy add to meQuilibrium’s bench strength by offering deep expertise in software-based business solutions and data-driven human capital solutions, respectively. Together, they will help meQuilibrium expand the reach of its services and drive growth,” said Jan Bruce, co-founder and CEO of meQuilibrium. “With Tom’s deep expertise steering high-growth companies at the intersection of behavioral health and software, and Wendy’s unparalleled understanding of the correlation between resilience and business performance, we are well positioned to build on the success we’ve experienced in the past twelve months to reach new heights in 2017.”

Brennan brings deep experience growing SaaS companies, having held C-level positions at GOSHIDO, a cloud-based project management and collaboration software vendor, and OPENAIR, one of the earliest SaaS businesses providing professional services automation software. He led OPENAIR to its successful exit in 2008, and most recently served as chief financial officer of behavioral health care provider AbleTo, where he worked with the CEO through three rounds of funding and significant business growth.

“My passion lies in building and growing companies that offer transformational solutions to both businesses and consumers,” said Brennan. “meQuilibrium sees the connection between employee business success and well-being, and serves both employee and employer by delivering resilience solutions that positively impact the individual and the organization. This solution is game changing, and one that I am eager to help bring to the masses.”

Dr. Lynch has done critical research to prove that resilience is a capacity that can be learned independently of work and personal circumstance, such as education and income. She has collaborated with meQuilibrium to validate the science behind its programming as part of meQuilibrium’s science committee, and will now offer her expertise to the Board of Directors. Lynch currently runs her own consulting firm, Lynch Consulting, Ltd., and is a frequent speaker and author of more than 50 articles and reports. Lynch is also author of two books on the economics of health care and business: Aligning Incentives, Information and Choice: How to Optimize Health and Human Capital Performance and Who Survives? How Benefit Costs are Killing Your Company.

“Based on extensive research, there is a very clear connection between health and business performance,” said Lynch. “By not only raising awareness of this connection, but offering a solution that empowers individuals to build resilience to stress and enhance work performance, meQuilibrium is fueling a more productive and innovative workforce.”
